For this brief we were given an artist to create an exhibition & identity around which should be relevant and influenced by their featured work - my given artist was Martin Parr, a UK lifestyle photographer
For my exhibition I decided to focus on an area of Parr's work that wasn't as well known - his fashion photography, I found this area of his work interesting as he has such contradicting views about fashion but his photography is still beautifully executed and shares the same distinctive styling and aesthetic as his other work.
Martin Parr's contradicting quotes on fashion & a series of gradients created by sampling colours from his photography were featured strongly throughout the ephemera and promo to show the contrast between his views and his photography
