Race, religion, and sexuality. The short film was meant to be a simplified reflection on today’s reality. The topic of ‘celebrating difference’ and equality have been talked about for a long time and it is one of the topics that are considered sensitive by some group of people. However, some measures need to be taken into account in order to educate the masses regarding this topic and to spark thoughts and discussion which will lead to a better understanding about people who are different than us.
The aims and objective of producing Stigma lies within the context of the short-animated film’s underlying messages. Using a range of theories of engagement and storytelling, the whole big idea of the production of Stigma is illustrated above.
