A Personal Exploration of Process
This is a personal project done for the sake of showing a visual representation of what my thinking process is for the duration of a design project. Most often, there are examples of process through sketches, drafts, and final compositions. I wanted to show more of the frantic ideas that run wild outside of physical work.
Style
The flow of this piece is similar to a comic book in both its typographical elements and makeshift Ben-Day dots that tie the work together. I wanted to go back to using the most basic of color palettes in order to show the "Titanic"-like story taking place revolving around design. For me, some of the most stylistically inspiring pieces have been from the strong shadows and sharp transitions found in comic book printing, and I wanted to replicate that nostalgic feeling.
