A book design for a doctoral dissertation publication - Metabolic modulators as a treatment of atrial fibrilation by Dragan Opačić.
I created the concept for the book which is based on a visual of a heart with scale insribed into it, which simbolizes different chapters of the book that are balanced in order to support the main thesis. The chapter intro pages gradually introduce all the pieces of the scale, making for the complete picture at the end.
