VENUS IN A FUNCTIONAL OBJECT
Classical artworks, such as this torso, are not commonly seen adorning the modern home. Taking advantage of the natural light-transmitting properties of cast glass, Venus in a Functional Object is a creative attempt to reintroduce the traditional sculpture in the form of a modern object.

ATHENA'S SHIELD
The windows of Medieval homes and buildings were widely decorated with round disks of glass called Rondels. This apotropaic rondel was inspired by the mythological Medusa, whose face often appears on protective talismans.
