Russell Cobb's profile

Weald and Downland Museum

Photography
Cobb's work is inspired by history, searching for places and faces where time has stood still.

Weald and Downland Open Air Museum consists of over 50 buildings that were all threatened with destruction.
They were all carefully dismantled, conserved and rebuilt in their original form.

As part of an on-going project Cobb is documenting life at the museum, photographing the dedicated team of people that run and bring the museum to life.

As a multi award winning creative, Cobb brings his painterly expertise and qualities into his work.
