the story of the night between 14 and 15 June 2008 when Giuseppe and Alberto were taken first to the carabinieri barracks in Varese. From there, Giuseppe, was taken to the hospital for a T.S.O. and never returned home.

The history of the "Banda del Matese" which occupied the municipality of Letino without bloodshed on April 8, 1877. ... On the side of via Tolemaide there are two narrow streets that lead to Piazza Alimonda.5.15 pm. A group of about twenty carabinieri supported by 2 defender is positioned in one of these two streets. The tear gas, which are launched in the middle of the parade, leave. The demonstrators react.The military, suddenly, start to back away, up to run away disorderly to Via Caffa, through Piazza Alimonda.
A group of protesters chase them screaming.The two defender continue in reverse, passing a first bin located in the middle of the road in front of the Church of the Remedy.A defender, reached a widening, makes maneuver and reaches the colleagues in via Caffa; the other stops at a half-empty rubbish bin on the right side of the road.A police platoon, with defender and armored vehicles, is deployed in via Caffa a few meters from the defender.
A large array of police and armored forces is located in Piazza Tommaseo, the square in which it flows via Caffa, 300 meters long.Some protesters reach the defender stopped in Piazza Alimonda, some of them go back towards via Tolemaide, others begin to throw stones at the police forces deployed in via Caffa, others still throw stones and throw shots with wooden planks to the defender ..
