The Peace Campaign

Second place winning presentation - London One Club Bootcamp.
The One Club - LCC Boot Camp. An international competition where universities studying advertising or relevnt courses are mixed into groups of 4 or 5 and compete to win the first prize: having their campaign come to life.
 
The Brief - Using whatever means, create a campaign that brings attention to the charity: The Peace Flag. This is the presentation used when we showed our idea.
Our Idea was to create an online event that was built by the audience. We thought that the best idea was to create a new island on Google Maps: The isle of Peace.
 
The Isle of Peace was an idea that took the usage of Google Maps and created something from it. In the upcoming months before to proposed 'International Peace Day' (The goal behind The Peace Flag organisation) there will be an option on Google Maps called 'Add to Peace'. This button would add the location of your choice to the growing island and mix it with streets and locations from all around the world.

On International Peace Day, the island will be accesable to the public virtually and will hold a series of events as well as information about the island, relavent arts and music, supporters and funders. 
 
We wanted something that brought the world together, so we made something that brought the world together.
