Brief
To celebrate these rich subcultures, Huck magazine are releasing a limited edition collectable supplement for its monthly subscribers. The supplement called “HSC”, will sit inside each bi-monthly release of 2018. Each release will have a different report on a modern subculture. You have been commissioned to beautifully design the supplement for Februarys’ release. Your design must capture the essence and energy of a modern subculture.
Approach
When I started this project I got an insight on my chosen subculture, skateboarding. By going into London Southbank and looking at the skatepark, taking pictures and gaining a sense of the place, I also looked online and used my own knowledge to get insights on skateboarding in other countries and the female perspective.
