2-Day Workshop in Memphis

Join Mary Kate with this Skill Camp workshop series consists of a two-day dive into her process of lettering. The goal of this session is to create a final lettering piece completely by hand using analog materials. 

Day 1 starts off covering the fundamentals of lettering and layout and ends with concept development, warmup exercises, creating thumbnails and beginning to sketch your lettering piece. Day 2 is focused on revising and finessing your sketch and adding color and texture, color final lettering piece. 

We will end our time together with a show and tell of student work, and any Q&A including real time examples from Mary Kate's body of work.
