A performance inspired by the life of Kassiani and her affair with the Emperor Theofilos. Our goal was to give a sense of magic realism in the performance. By using the colours of the byzantine images I created three elements that Kassia puts on her dress in order to create an odd costume that reminds this era. These three elements represent three different phases of Kassiani's life: the sexual maturity, the life in the monastery and her sanity.

In the background we used, instead of a mural, an image of the contemporary artist Dino Valls, as a comment on the body that suffers from passion.
