The Sketching stage... the sketch is done on paper before it is scanned

Inking 

Base colors are added to the girl

Shadows, highlights and makeup are added

More light details are added to other objects

Shadows and highlights are added to the wolf's fur

I start creating a scene with depth by creating a foreground for my characters and a background for the night sky

I then create the hills and mountains to add more depth to the background

Using the brush tool i paint some trees to  create a foresty feel i also add more highlights in the mountains for more depth

I then add snow and some more highlights to create more ambience 

I tried a different color background and i liked the effect
