DVA Application

I have included below some videos and still images that I feel are relevant to my DVA application.
In the Video section further down the page I have F A L L, which was my Honours project in 2016. It was constructed with the intention of being viewed through old style red and cyan 3D glasses but can still be watched without. Threshold Consciousness was a project in 2017 to try to combine performance art with experimental video art. The two Yoke films are part of the works to be used in my collaborative project with Adam Anderson. This will be shown as part of an exhibition in April 2019 at the POP Gallery, Brisbane.

The images are selected from some projects that have experimental and interdiscipilinary elements. Bleached is an ongoing portrait series utilising expired instant film stock (Fuji FP100C) where the negatives have been treated with bleach and traces of dye have been left behind on the film. Echo also utilised bleached instant film stock but was a darkroom project, printing onto paper stock combining an assortment of experimental techniques including cliche verre, photograms and sandwiched negatives. The F A L L images are photos used in the production of animations for the F A L L video mentioned above. The Yoke images are stills created for use in the exhibition with Adam Anderson, also mentioned above.
