Sometimes I work night shifts, look up at the stars, and think that the stars are like a glowing desert. I am a poor child who has been thrown into the desert... I have the feeling that life on earth is really an accident in the universe, it is an empty palace, and human beings are the only ants in this palace. This idea has given me a very contradictory mentality for the rest of my life: sometimes I feel that life is precious, everything is more important than Mount Tai; sometimes I feel that people are so small and nothing is worth mentioning. Anyway, the days are gone in this strange feeling, and people are getting old without knowing it..."
