Watercolour rivers / Iceland

The "Watercolour Rivers" project was created to show the beauty of Iceland. Above all, the beauty of her nature, which is unique and unparalleled.

Looking at the island from a bird’s-eye view allows the landscape to be seen from an unknown and breathtaking perspective.

The crystalline water flowing from the largest glacier in Europe, turns into rivers to reach the ocean. During the journey, it encounters thermal springs rich in various minerals, and depending on the type of sediment that it carries, changes tone to create amazing palettes of colour.

Nature itself creates these texturally rich compositions. My role is to notice this beauty and through my photography, preserve and perpetuate these images. We are now beginning to understand how much we are destroying our planet. I want my photographs to help people realise what wonders we will lose if we don’t change our ways of living.
