OCD, an experiential and experimental installation, is a project conceptualized and executed during a sound design course module.
Through a multi channel audio and video projection based setting, the installation aims at emulating a passage of time, in a day of a man suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
The term 'OCD' is used by people very casually when in fact it is a serious medical condition. Apart from bringing into light the complexities of the disorder and the struggles it poses in regular functioning of a human being, the idea behind the installation was also to address the overall stigma attached to mental disorders.
