In this project I chose to present the ongoing problem of plastic bags
and my view of us consumers who ignore the damages of plastic bag waste.
Plastic bags (along with cigarette buds) top the litter list of our community and can be seen everywhere in our urban landscape; along beaches, roads, sidewalks, and throughout parks. Plastic bags don't absorb back to the land and because of their light weight plastic bags fly easily in the wind, float along the currents of rivers and oceans, get tangled up in trees, fences, and poles. Plastic bags are a hazard for nature; Many marine animals and birds mistakenly ingest plastic or get tangled up and choke in plastic bags that float around. These incidents sometimes result in the death of these helpless animals.
