"Casa Kalypso" is a tranquil, secluded summer guesthouse in Alonissos island dated back in the seventies. Ten years ago was renovated and came by an identity. Since then there have been lots of changes. More land was used and the first part of a new residence complex was built. Additionally, more and more guesthouses sprang in the surrounding area.
A set of rules was designed to create a coherent and convincing picture.
Mark
The mark symbolizes the hostess, a provincial, cosmopolitan, prim, elegant and polite lady. The logo depicts the impression of the interiors, modular, geometric & curvy, crisp & frisky. The background pattern illustrates the farm, olive trees, climbing plants and flowers.
Color palette
Blue/turquoiseιze = sea/sky (the owner's favorite), browngreen/beige = earth/wood, yellowwhite/white = sun/summer

Interiors: a patchwork of dissimilar elements and decoration decisions, (the owner hates the stylized hotel look) made through the years. All unified (woodworks, tiles, fabrics etc.) by the color palette and patterns.
Exteriors: Same as above. Bird nests, garbage cans, pathways, pots, composters, solar stick lights, candle holders...
