I was asked back in 2006 to come up with a radical container stacker for the 2007 IVT annual material handling cover. This was my answer to the most radical container stacker at the time (and probably still is), the Liebherr LRS645 Container Stacker. My monstrosity has its down sides (very top heavy plus a weak main boom structure) but I had a lot of fun creating it. It’s pretty self-explanatory. One thing that might not be evident is that its all-wheel drive and  all-terrain which justifies the more heavy duty off-road tires.
