The Kilt Centre is run by Directors, Pipe Major Robert Mathieson and his wife Anne Mathieson. They are experts in Traditional and Contemporary Highland Dress sales, Kilt Rental Hire, Customised Tartan Design and Pipe Band Instruments and Supplies.

The Kilt Centre is renowned across Lanarkshire for their expert knowledge and fantastic customer service. However, Robert approached Made In Scotland early in 2017 as he was facing a struggle getting this across online, the website for the business was outdated, non responsive and difficult for users to navigate.

The new website was created for The Kilt Centre (see link below) however they didn’t stop there as they then went full stack Digital Marketing, which included Email Marketing campaigns, SEO and more! Made In Scotland would meet regularly with The Kilt Centre to discuss marketing possibilities, and it was from one of these discussions that the idea to launch the “Win a kilt” competition was born. This competition exceeded even our expectations as it had over 1000 entries and an over all Facebook reach of around 150,000 users!

As the business then continued to grow online, the need for an online store became arose to which Made In Scotland then developed this onto the current website. We look forward to continuing this relationship with The Kilt Centre and helping them further grow their online profile.
