With this piece, I intend to visually represent the complexity of my personality with an organic combination of oil painting and collage. I cut out images from fashion magazines and composited them on top of the oil painting of myself underneath. Each stoke of brush mark, each paper cutout and each color vibrating against another is a statement I wish to make about myself.
