As a part of the course at LCC we were asked to create an awareness campaign poster for one of a number of organisations.
Choosing Alzheimer's Awareness I focused on the sense of slow breakdown, both of the self for those with the condition and in terms of the connection between them and their families. This lead to the campaign tag line 'Dementia unravels lives - help us to put a knot in it.'
Visually, the strongest idea proved to be the one below. The stitching was done by me as was the art direction, photography and retouching. There are a number of other strong visuals to follow up the campaign...
