The "Rock The Locks" event is a new, 5k race fundraiser held in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The city reached out and asked me to make the logo for the event. They asked for something to stand the test of time, modern and incorporating freighters, the Sault International Locks and rock music nuance. The logo proper uses the silhouette of the Sault Locks, a classic American color palette and freighters.
