Manananggal the Disembodied
An aswang that can fly after separating itself from its lower body. It eats fetuses from a mother’s womb by passing their long sharp tongue through a small hole from the roof of a house to suck the blood of the unborn.
According to legends, one can place salt, garlic, and spices on her lower torso to prevent the witch from combining again, leaving it vulnerable to sunlight.
