On this reimagine of the Blade Runner (1982) title sequence, I tried to make it a little bit more abstract but retains the same sci-fi, noir feel. The orb representing the memory orb sphere revealed in Blade Runner 2049 travels through an abstract technological tiles reminiscent of the neon lit-buildings of the cityscape. Later an eventual disruption causes the tiles of re align, symbolic of the conflict when Rachel finds out about her reality and themes of oblivion and complacency. I imagine the sequence can transition out of the technological darkness of circuitry into the darkness of the real world, dystopian Los Angeles of 2019.
