Self-introduction

Motion: Fang Tzu Hsu's  Self-introduction

The film relies on a chrysanthemum to represent myself, as in Oriental culture the chrysanthemum symbolizes the regal, honest, and strong, while I concomitantly wanted to use it to convey the people of Taiwan. So I selected a yellow chrysanthemum, since to the Asian eye yellow signifies auspicious blessings to come.

The video features different ink colors, representing my own different personality traits and characteristics. Blue stands for irrepressible resolve. Red represents earnestness and an assiduous nature. Purple implies careful thought. Green stands for internal freedom of the heart and soul. (and the openness of the inner world to any new experience) Yellow means one is replete with curiosity. When many colors are integrated, this conveys the sense of sensitivity, which is limitless. Black then stands for courage and tenacity.

Behind The Scenes

This introduces my creative processes, with a personal intro video to explain all the tools without any special effects employed, along with the selection of shimmering ink for a sparkling effect to tantalize the eyes and capture the imagination, with the dark space forming the natural backdrop for the glimmer.
