I designed this patch for a banana themed Mardi Gras krewe I was a part of in 2017. The krewe marched in the Box of Wine parade; we wore these and handed them out as a parade throw.

Abundance Spectrum Patch
This patch was designed to reinforce ideas about abundance as a something which can be both beneficial or detrimental to your life. The blue-on-blue eyes are taken from residents of the planet Arrakis, from Frank Herbert’s Dune. The people of this planet’s eyes take on a blue-on-blue stain because they are addicted to a local resource called melange or “the spice”. The abundance of this substance on their planet garners it universal attention and centers it in an intergalactic war.
