The exterior of the book was crafted to mimic a suitcase. 

Interior pages included symbol layouts, hand-crafted embossing, die cut, editorial spread about migration, and a miniature sketchbook to highlight the development of a symbol for the word "flight". 

Opening pages with the conceived symbol for "flight" to the right. 

Challenged with the task of creating a pocket for the miniature sketchbook, I decided to have my pocket serve as a luggage tag in which the sketchbook can slide in and out of an opening on the right side. This further contributed to the exterior design as a suitcase.
