The project LightWay consists of a luminous strip that proposes to connect Porta Garibaldi metro station to the Gae Aulenti square, the symbol of change and progress of the city of Milan. The area of Porta Nuova is undoubtedly the fulcrum of innovation, due to its great development in recent years. However, this area is mostly pedestrian and it is still commonly unknown, since the use of public transport does not allow to access to this part of the city. LightWay creates luminous and modern pathways pretending to guide the inhabitants and visitors from surrounding areas towards this new area of the city.
