Tales from the American West.
Part I: Death Valley National Park.
...there’s few spots on this earth that are so deadly, vast, hostile - and yet of a striking beauty beyond any measure. I’ve never seen any place like Death Valley before. It takes endless backcountry roads and two grim mountain ranges to cross to set foot on its burned soils. Out of the car, hot winds will fill your lungs and every piece of your skin immediately starts to sizzle, as if there was not only heat, but electricity in the air. Still, after that first sensation...there’s so many colours, textures and so much life to discover.
