A tan solo poco más de dos meses de la culminación de treceavo (13) Bactúm (en el calendario maya) y del inicio de un nuevo ciclo, en Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, como parte de los eventos conmemorativos, se instaló el denominado “Portal Maya”.

 

La obra del escultor nacido en el estado de Guanajuato, Arturo Tavarez, representa (en palabras del artista): La humanidad que se alinea a este nuevo ciclo de luz, simbolizando esperanza.

 

Así se comienzan a escribir los primeros capítulos de una nueva historia, mismos serán considerados en el futuro como los "recuerdos tempranos".

Just over two months after the completion of thirteenth (13) Bactúm (in the Mayan calendar) and the beginning of a new cycle, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, as part of commemorative events, was installed the called "Maya Portal ".

 

The sculptor born in the state of Guanajuato, Arturo Tavarez, represents (in the words of the artist): The humanity that aligns to this new cycle of light, symbolizing hope.

 

This will begin writing the first chapters of a new story, they will be considered in the future as the "earliest memories".
