Charity Work/Collaborations

London Pacific Fashion Show 2013 // CHARITY FUNDRAISER
LPFS brought together talents of internationally acclaimed fashion designers, musician’s, artists, tattooists, performers, and cultural groups. Profits raised from the fashion show were donated to the charity 'Help for Heroes - Band of Brothers'.

I was approached by Ana Lavekau (LPFS Founder) to design the logo and marketing material for the show. As a Samoan Graphic Designer living in London I was excited about helping my fellow pacific island artists and contributing to such a great cause.

GAFA: A Family Called Samoa // ART SHOW
GAFA: A Family Called Samoa is a Layered Art experience that employs spoken word, film, music, movement and installation to observe the family of Samoa as it merges and re-emerges from colonial interference.
I was part of a collaborative team of artists, writers, poets and singers that staged this one off performance piece in London. It involved workshops, brainstorming sessions and strategic planning. We managed to secure funding and production equipment from local businesses and the company contributed their time free of charge. We sold nearly two hundred tickets and earned a loyal fanbase. I designed the logo and all the marketing/promotional material for the event and built a transactional website using Wordpress.
