The Los Angeles riots of 1992 is still a tragic memory to LA residents. This event should be remembered by the next generation of how there are still problems beneath this city that is known for its multicultural diversity. The LA riots did not just affect African Americans, but many Korean immigrants who had businesses in Koreatown and were also attacked. I wanted to deliver the message to 2nd generation Korean-Americans, that we should carry the dreams and visions that our parents held on to through various hardships and the LA riots. This brochure recaptures the six days of the LA riots: April 29 to May 4th, 1992. The second brochure shows the interviews of the Korean Americans who went through the LA riots and how they were able to accomplish their dreams, despite the hardships that faced them.
