This was one of the first animations I ever made, for a workshop for my illustration degree. Claybod, our main character, wants a friend. But nobody seems right for him! Will he find happiness? Have a look and find out. 

I created this with some Wilko's own plasticine, and things on my desk. I had a DSLR, but no way of seeing how the film was progressing other than flicking though the files on the camera as i shot it. I compiled it all with After Effects (of which i had very limited knowledge) which took longer than it would have done with Premiere. 

And it's still my favourite thing i've ever made. It's not perfect, the animation's not great, but it's whimsical and fun, and it was a pleasure to make. I adored every second, and it was this that made me want to pursue a career in animation.
