During my summer as a Civic Digital Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, I worked on rethinking the Department of State's current Open Government page to consolidate and highlight the Department's initiatives to remain open and accountable to the American public. As part of this process, my team inventoried the scattered reports, tools, and data contributing to public transparency and came up with page style and structure in line with the overall State.gov redesign that will be going live in 2019.
