Handbuilding // Fall 2011

 

This piece was so fun to make and experiment with different glazes. The narrative behind it is that someone was running late to class, tried to bust through the door of the building she was headed to... and missed the sign on the door that said "PULL." I had to explain to my roommate that I don't think she looks like a bald man, this was just my first time sculpting the human form. :)
