Recently designed project for the band Black Line, featuring Douglas J. McCarthy and Bon Harris (the founding members of Nitzer Ebb), Cyrusrex, Ken 'Hiwatt' Marshal, and Zack Meyers. The band was performing a concert at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles and wanted to do unique branding for the event which included a promotional poster and postcard, 7" single with traditional black vinyl and a very limited edition version on white vinyl, three t-shirt design variations, stickers, enamel pins and buttons.
Up until this point my branding for Black Line had been quite austere (see my earlier project post). I approached the band about doing something more colorful with the logo I had previously designed and transforming it into an Op Art box. Thankfully they agreed.
