I took advantage of the intended non-functionality of this calendar to emphasize the photography and showcase the type in an unusual way. While the layout and orientation of the type varies from month to month, all twelve months are unified by the detailed, tactile feel of the photos, the typeface Didot, and the white rectangle in which the type is contained.
