Sustainia is an alliance of international organisations and companies working to create sustainable growth. The work of the alliance is driven by a shared goal to identify and elevate existing sustainable solutions and mature markets for sustainable products and services.
I helped develop the concept and the design for Guide to Sustainia – the first project by the alliance. The book is about showing best practice examples on how to reach a sustainable future instead of showing worst case scenarios. The idea behind the design is to use optimistic and modern design elements like bright colors, a geometric sans serif typeface and infographics and iconography to make the subject more tangible and inspiring.
Guide to Sustainia laid the foundation for Sustainia to grow as an consultancy that helps organisations and industries transform Global Goals into business goals and they have inspired stakeholders and decision makers with numerous conferences and the Sustainia Awards amongst others things.
