A short documentary about a piece created at the new W Hotel on the Palm, "Melting Pot" is a reflection of different cultures, ethnicities and groups that form the collective identity of Dubai. The city's successes and character are built on this blend. Across 6 surfaces I painted how I felt these cultures blend and meet, in a format that could surround and engage the viewer. 

Using emulsion, spraypaint, lots of masking tape and lots of patience, the process was a long and difficult one, but one I feel was truly worth it in the end. Thanks to the fight of forging this piece despite a difficult client, this is now the style I feel has found me and is pushing me forward.
