Union public service commission (UPSC) is conducting combined defense services examination (CDSE) for twice a year. Through this examination the entry will be possible in the Indian military academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air force Academy Officers training Academy. Those who are selected in this will get jobs at good position in the selected part. At this situation let us have a focus on CDSE examination qualification, examination method, preparation details.
Qualification:-
Those who are capable for the entire category are only qualifiers.
Indian Military Academy, officer training academy posts any degree should be passed.
For naval academy B.Tech should be passed.
For Air Force Academy any degree should be passed and also should have studied maths, physics in inter or B.Tech passers are also qualifiers. Those who have written final year examination and waiting for results are also eligible to apply.
Women are qualifiers only for the officer training academy. For remaining divisions they are not qualifiers.
Physical Fitness:- Physical fitness should be there as decided and mentioned in the notification.
Age limit:- For Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy July 2, 1990- July 1, 1995 middle, for Air force academy post July 2, 1991-July 1, 1995 middle, for officers training Academy (men, Women) post July 2, 1989 – July 1, 1995 middle born are qualifiers.
Written Examination Method:- written examination will be in English/Hindi medium. All the questions will be in the form of multiple choice methods. Negative marks are there for the wrong answers. Totally three papers, in that there will be a chance that English, general knowledge will be at graduation level, and Elementary mathematics will be at 10th standard level.
In Training:- After completing interview, physical fitness, medical, health examination, successfully based on importance, merit opportunity will be selected for any one of the service. Indian military academy – Dehradun, Naval Academy- Goa, Air force Academy – Hyderabad, officers training academy – Chennai in the related divisions training will be conducted. In the protection force all the needed things will be taught in the training. In army, navy, air force academy, 18 months training will be there. For OTA candidates 11 months training is conducted.
Tricking, jumping, skipping, rifle shooting, like this challenging the thoughts of enemies, aiming self-confidence increasing is the goal of the training. In various parts of the country training will be conducted. The training will be like making them as all-rounder’s. In training home comfort, books, uniform, medical comfort will be given. Not only that Rs.21, 000/- per month is given as stipend. Through this training valuable things can be learnt.
