Description: In this movie we were hired to do 3 completely makeups.
1st. Hearts: We had two special requests from the Director, the Actress didn’t wan’t to touch a real pig’s heart and there was a scene with dogs biting the heart, so we had to add something sweet to the special blood. I painted several latex hearts and help doing all the process of molding.
2nd. Prosthetic torso: I painted, punched hair on the silicone prosthetic torso, and applied on the actor. The making of this Prosthetic was guided by the Makeup Effects Artist Colin H. Arthur. Working with him was a pleasure and alowed me to learn a lot about old and classic makeup techniques also.
Period makeup: I was also invited by the Key makeup artist in the movie to do period makeup for several men and women including a well known portuguese actress Isabel Ruth in a party scene in the movie.
