MAXIMA Business Class
GOOOD put its name on hawaiian airlines’ new first class.
It did so by taking inspiration from a hunch: those who fly to Hawaii almost always do so for leisure. This is how we came up with the idea of dropping the classic business class concept in favour of a new notion of airborne comfort.
This is how the first leisure class in the world was born: a space imagined exclusively for those who are flying towards relaxation and fun. Designed over the course of the last two years, the brand new cabin of one of the most prestigious airlines in the world was devised entirely by us to reflect hawaiian’s unique style and combining a set of high added value products.
It did so by taking inspiration from a hunch: those who fly to Hawaii almost always do so for leisure. This is how we came up with the idea of dropping the classic business class concept in favour of a new notion of airborne comfort.

Designed over the course of the last two years, the brand new cabin of one of the most prestigious airlines in the world was devised entirely by us to reflect hawaiian’s unique style and combining a set of high added value products.
Optimares, the selling company, works at this project with the exclusive use of a patent that belongs to the design studio with which it has collaborated; this enables a cabin layout with 20% more seats than any other currently in existence, and with a 30% reduction in seat weight compared to other products on the market.
These elements make aircraft particularly efficient in relation of higher returns, thanks to higher passenger numbers and to fuel economy.
Maxima provides all occupants with aisle access without having to squeeze past other passengers when in a window seat and, finally, ensures that more space is available to all.

GOOOD has deeply innovated the field, purpose creating virtual reality tools to conceive, validate and share this complex industrial design project the development of these tools was entrusted to BCAA; one of the world’s most competent and advanced media agencies in the fields of virtual reality and interactivity.
This project has given birth to a collaboration between GOOOD and BCAA that is aimed at bringing these virtual reality representation solutions to the market.
This technology had its global premiere during Hawaiian Airline’s media day, held in Honolulu on September 2016.
