The design brief was to design a mobile vehicle for a vendor selling ice cream & shakes by understanding the requirements, ergonomics of the vendor and the functionality of the mobile vehicle
A case study was conducted to identify the problems regarding work space, ergonomics of existing ice cream truck. The problems were identified in reach ability while storing materials & water ,preparing ice cream & shakes, serving them, disposing waste. Work space being limited the issues were faced while making multiple orders. The work space is cluttered because there is no proper storage for raw materials such as milk, macaroni, paper cups, spoons, water etc. No seating space is available for the vendor which makes him stand for longer duration.
