New Dawn Enterprises is a Cape Breton volunteer-directed organization whose mission is to strengthen the local community and economy. With a declining population and an economy still recovering from the loss of steel and coal, Cape Breton faces a long road to true sustainability. New Dawn is an organization trying to solve these issues. They provide education, healthcare, housing for those with mental illness, local investment, and much more.
This was the first annual report the company had done in several years. I wanted to create something inspiring that would convey a sense of empowerment and self-reliance, and tell the story of the organization and thy do.
