Work in Progress - Website redesign for an East Yorkshire based company that provide unusual vehicles for weddings and special occasions. The Alternative Wedding Car Company pride themselves on their service and their ability to add that 'special' touch to any occasion.
The new design is intended to be an extension of the company's beliefs and through the use of bold imagery and pastel colours, it provides a welcoming, personal guide to the services on offer.
The new home page is minimal in appearance, not wanting to overwhelm the user with too much information. A "Rose Tinted" image fills the background, inspiring an emotive connection with the users own special occasion.
An introduction to the services offered by the company, with a simple icon set that again provides a visual representation of this information. The subtle colour palette is intended to reflect that of a wedding or special occasion. Again a minimal approach is taken, in order that the information can be consumed easily.
Introductory page for the vehicles offered by the company. Includes a brief description accompanied by a selection of imagery of the vehicles. A full screen background image again provides a strong visual element.
Each vehicle will have it's own page, featuring a full screen background image, description, and a selection of detailled images.
The contact page, featuring a form for the user to provide as much information as possible, including vehicle preferences, special requirements etc.
