Textile Patterns for Women
The patterns below are inspired by three goddesses: Kali, Hindu goddess associated with empowerment, Isis, Egyptian goddess representing the ideal wife, and Pachamama, South American goddess for Mother Earth.
I made these patterns as possible prints for make-up or chocolate packaging.
Textile pattern inspired by Hindu goddess Kali. Has motifs of Pachamama,
because Kali is associated with the energy of the universe.
Textile pattern inspired by Isis, Egyptian goddess. Isis is depicted as being the ideal wife and lover.
She is usually drawn with the wings of a falcon.
Pachamama pattern, she is mother earth for different cultures and groups of people in South America (sometimes in Central America too). She has been drawn with a headress similar to the black motif above.
