The Client
Coke Studio is a television programme and international music franchise under Coca-Cola which features live studio-recorded music performances by established and emerging artists.

Overview
In 2013, the Visual Identity System for Coke Studio needed to be leveraged and evolved to reflect the current trends of the time. The spirit of music formed its core, fused with other Coca-Cola brand elements and the “cool” attitude of teens and local flavours.
The VIS is a multi-year platform that can re-invent itself time and time again and serve a multitude of Coca-Cola music events and initiatives.

Approach
Each country or region had a set of cultural elements that make it unique; (local relevance). A proper Coke Studio design should dial up on these elements to make Coke Studio relevant to each market.  

I lead the team that was tasked with this project to create and streamline design principles, address the local audience and be adaptable to the countries that had Coke Studio active at that time – Central, East and West Africa, Middle East and North Africa and Pakistan.
