DAD Book Cover Design
For this task, we were told to do a mockup book design for Academic Organisation and Study Regulation.
UTB’s Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) is responsible for reviewing the University's system, policies and guidance for assuring and enhancing the quality of students' learning experience and maintaining academic standards.
Currently the unit is updating the Academic Organization and Study Regulation (AOSR) book.
We were assigned to design the front and back cover of the AOSR book, with the specification size of an A4. The document set up should be set to CMYK, 300ppi. Our design must reflect the branding colours of UTB as well as its contents.
When the design is exported as a JPG, we were told to ensure that the colour mode is set to RGB for viewing purposes.
We were also told to use any art movements that is suitable for the mockups. Therefore, I chose abstract and minimalist for my main design. The arts below are a few of my inspirations:
