These four elements were believed to be essential to life. 

This is an experimental project, where i chose these 4 elements, created a collage representing each one of them.

When the collages where done, i traced the most important details with butter-paper then started to paint. 

Each element has 2 drawings. One that represents the colors as they are, and the other one represents the same drawing and colors but with an addition of grey in each color.
